Dream - Stroke is a disease that is often experienced in old age, but it is not impossible for this disease to occur earlier in young age. This disease can be fatal if not carefully controlled.
Stroke itself is a condition when blood flow to the brain is disrupted. This condition is caused by blockage of blood vessels or rupture of blood vessels in the brain. 1. Healthy Diet

2. Regular Exercise

3. Maintain Body Weight
One key to preventing stroke is by controlling body weight to stay ideal. Maintaining body weight can reduce the risk of high blood pressure and diabetes, which can trigger a stroke.
4. Avoid Excessive Stress
"It's no longer a secret, stress has a negative impact on health, including triggering strokes. Regular exercise, meditation, adequate rest, and journaling can help control stress, so you can avoid the potential of various chronic diseases."
5. Control Blood Pressure
Did you know that high blood pressure is a major factor in someone having a stroke? This is because that condition can damage blood vessels and cause a stroke.
To overcome this, you need to monitor blood pressure regularly. Don't forget to continue to strive to maintain blood pressure by regulating diet, getting enough rest, and exercising to stay within normal limits.
According to a study conducted by OMRON, regularly checking blood pressure at home can reduce the risk of stroke by up to 54 percent. So, how can one check their own blood pressure, which is a cause of stroke, at home?
To check your blood pressure independently at home, you can use the Omron Connect application. Inside this application, there is a blood pressure feature that is able to monitor your blood pressure every day.
Not only can it help check blood pressure, but you can also find out how high the risk of your body getting a stroke is by relying on the Stroke Risk Calculator feature.
