Dream - Mochi daifuku became one of the snack trends last year. The taste and shape are not much different from the mochi that has been sold in the market.
Usually, mochi daifuku is served in various colors. Its filling is not only in the form of paste or fruit jam, but also cream, making its texture softer.
Regardless of the shape, color, and various fillings, mochi daifuku is very easy to make. Dream friends can also find the necessary ingredients to make mochi daifuku at the nearest supermarket.
What ingredients are needed and how to make it? Check out the banana mochi recipe from Culinary Content Creator, Lusiana below.
Input:
Isian:250 ml banana milk45 gram gula pasir30 gram tepung maizenaKulit mochi:140 gram tepung beras ketan30 gram tepung maizena50 gram gula pasir
Output:Filling: 250 ml banana milk, 45 grams granulated sugar, 30 grams cornstarch. Mochi skin: 140 grams glutinous rice flour, 30 grams cornstarch, 50 grams granulated sugar.
250 ml banana milkYellow coloring25 grams vegetable oilTopping:Cornstarch flour
Step 1: Heat the banana milk and pour in the mixture of granulated sugar and cornstarch. Cook over low heat and stir continuously until thickened.
Copy the dough into a bowl and cover it with cling wrap to prevent it from forming a skin layer like mochi. Let it sit for a few minutes.
Mix glutinous rice flour, cornstarch, and granulated sugar. Stir well.
Add banana milk and a little yellow food coloring, then mix well. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Cover the bowl with aluminum foil and steam for 30 minutes.
After steaming, add vegetable oil into the dough and mix well until the texture becomes firm and the oil is absorbed.
Take a small portion of the dough, add a little sprinkle of cornstarch, then flatten it. Pour the filling that was previously covered with cling wrap onto the mochi skin, then cover the skin.
"When the mochi shape is to your liking, place it on a round-shaped paper container for easier consumption and an appealing appearance."
