The finalist of MasterChef Indonesia Season 9 shares a low-calorie chicken breast satay recipe on his Instagram account @ocit.mci9. Ocit is someone who enjoys sports and is selective about food. He also shares a low-calorie maranggi recipe to help his followers achieve a slim body like Lisa, a member of BlackPink.
This food has low calories because the recipe and cooking method do not use excessive fat ingredients. For those who like to exercise at the gym, this can be a good choice to avoid getting bored with ordinary chicken breast. Want to know how? Let's take a look at the recipe.
- 7 cloves of shallots - 3 cloves of garlic - 7 bird's eye chili - 3 tablespoons of water (not oil)
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder - 1 teaspoon of salt - ½ tablespoon of mushroom/chicken broth - 2 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce - 2 tablespoons of tamarind water - 2 tablespoons of brown/javanese sugar
- First, blend the required finely ground spices using a blender.
- Then mix the ground spices and marinade with 400 grams of diced chicken fillet that has been cut into small pieces.
- Leave it for about 15-30 minutes so that the seasoning can fully penetrate the chicken meat.
- After being left for 30 minutes, the next step is to insert the pieces of chicken meat onto skewers.
- After that, you can cook it by grilling it on a non-stick pan. It's even better if you heat up charcoal to give a special flavor to the chicken.
