Ingredients:2 cups of basmati rice (or other types of rice)4 cups of waterSalt to taste500 grams of beef (cut into small pieces)2 tablespoons of vegetable oil1 large onion (finely chopped)4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)2 tablespoons of curry powder1 tablespoon of chili powder (optional)
2 stalks of lemongrass (crushed) 4 curry leaves 2 tomatoes (diced) 400 ml coconut milk Salt and sugar to taste Sufficient amount of water Hard-boiled eggs or omelette Fried chicken or fried meat (optional) Boiled vegetables (long beans, carrots, cabbage, etc.)
How to Make: Preparation of Rice: Wash the rice until the water is clear, then drain. Cook the rice with water and salt until cooked and the texture is soft. Preparation of Curry Sauce: Heat the oil in a large pot. Sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant. Add the beef and stir until it changes color. Add curry powder and chili powder (if used), stir well. Add lemongrass and curry leaves, then cook briefly. Pour coconut milk into the pot. Stir well. Add tomato slices. Let the sauce boil.
