Recipe for Original Klepon 

Ingredients: 250 gr Glutinous rice flour 50 gr Rice flour Some waterRed sugar according to tasteSome grated steamed coconut.

How to make: Knead glutinous rice flour, rice flour, and water until they can be molded. Fill the middle part of the dough with grated brown sugar, shape the dough into a ball shape, set aside. Boil water until boiling. Put the dough in, wait until the dough floats. Lift and drain. Roll the klepon in grated coconut steamed. Original klepon is ready to be served.

Recipe Klepon Ubi Orange

Ingredients: 350 gr steamed orange sweet potatoes, 300 gr white glutinous rice flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 170 ml warm water, 2 tsp new cooking oil, 50 gr grated brown sugar, 1 pandan leaf.

               

How to Make: Mash the steamed orange sweet potato until cooked. Add salt and glutinous rice flour. Stir until well mixed. Gradually add warm water, knead until the dough is smooth. Add new cooking oil, knead again until smooth and can be shaped. Take a small amount of dough, shape it into a round and flatten it, fill it with grated palm sugar, shape it back into a round. Mix grated young coconut with salt, steam with pandan leaves until cooked. Lift it up when the klepon is floating, drain it, coat it with grated coconut. Orange Sweet Potato Klepon is ready to be served.

"Recipe for Purple Klepon"

Ingredients: 200 gr glutinous rice flour 50 gr rice flour 30 gr granulated sugar Salt as needed 250 ml water Purple sweet potato food coloring as needed Grated coconut as needed Fine sliced palm sugar

               

How to Make: Cook rice flour, granulated sugar, food coloring, and water in a pan, cook until the texture resembles rice porridge, lift and put it into a bowl. Mix glutinous rice flour into the rice flour mixture until well blended, shape into balls and fill with palm sugar. Boil klepon until they float. Lift and drain. Steam grated coconut with salt, put klepon into the grated coconut. Purple klepon is ready to be served. Source: Diadona.id
