Dream - Jokowi raises the performance allowance (tukin) for employees of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) two days before the 2024 General Election voting.
Jokowi inaugurated it through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 18 of 2024 concerning performance allowances for employees in the Secretariat General of Bawaslu, which was signed on February 12, 2024.
"The performance allowance for employees in the Secretariat General of the General Election Supervisory Agency as referred to in Article 3 shall be granted as of the effective date of this presidential regulation."
Thus reads Presidential Regulation Number 18 of 2024 Article 4.
The consideration for this salary increase is based on the achievement of the implementation of bureaucratic reform, the General Secretariat of the Election Supervisory Agency, which has fulfilled the criteria.
The increase in salaries of Bawaslu employees varies according to job class. Prior to the 2024 Election, the smallest salary received by Bawaslu employees is Rp1,968,000. Meanwhile, the largest salary reaches Rp29,085,000.
"Previously, in the 2017 regulations, the lowest Bawaslu employee's allowance was Rp1,766,000. Meanwhile, the highest allowance reached Rp24,930,000."
