To make ketapang nuts, you don't need to bother looking for many ingredients. The process of making it is also not difficult. All you need is determination and a little skill in frying. Here is a simple recipe to make delicious ketapang nuts.

Recipe for Biji Ketapang 500 Gram

Ingredients:250 grams of wheat flour200 grams of granulated sugar2 eggs150 grams of margarine200 grams of grated coconut1 teaspoon of saltCooking oil1 teaspoon of powdered vanilla

               

How to Make: Prepare a container, then start mixing granulated sugar, eggs, salt, and powdered vanilla. Stir until everything is evenly mixed, set aside. In another container, mix the flour and grated coconut. Stir well first, then pour into the mixture of granulated sugar and eggs. Stir all the ingredients until well blended.

Add margarine, stir again and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and does not stick. Shape the ketapang seeds dough: take a small amount of dough, shape it into a long shape with your hands. Then, cut into small pieces using a piasu or scissors. Adjust the size of the ketapang seeds according to your taste. Next, place the shaped dough in another container. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.

Then, insert the shaped ketapang seeds dough into it. Fry the ketapang seeds until cooked, make sure the color is golden brown. Flip it while frying to prevent the dough from being soggy, lift it and drain. Repeat the frying process until all the ketapang seeds dough is finished. Then, let it sit for a moment and cool down until the hot steam disappears, then put it into an airtight jar.
