A total of 448 units of Suzuki Jimny 3-door will undergo inspection and replacement of the fuel pump component for a more optimal driving tranquility and safety.

Asst. to Service Dept. Head PT SIS, Hariadi, said that Suzuki will contact the owners of the affected Jimny 3-door to provide the best service at the Official Suzuki Workshop.

According to Hariadi, the evaluation and investigation conducted by Suzuki are intended for further inspection. Suzuki will also replace the impeller fuel pump component or propeller in the fuel tank of Suzuki Jimny, which has the potential to undergo deformation or distortion beyond the standard provisions.

Further impact if left untreated is that the fuel pump will not function and cause the car engine to stutter. However, with the replacement of the component that will be carried out by PT SIS, it is ensured that the performance of the component can return to normal.

Further examination and replacement of this component will only take 2 hours, and will be carried out by expert teams from Suzuki's after-sales service, supported by 192 Official Workshop locations and 48 Service Points spread across 33 provinces in Indonesia.
