Step 1Pour water, soy sauce, maple syrup or honey, and granulated sugar into a saucepan. Heat over low or medium heat while stirring evenly. Cook until the mixture boils.
Apply the cooked seasoning mixture onto the seaweed sheet, then sprinkle sesame seeds on top to add texture. Cover the seaweed sheet with another sheet and flatten it with a rolling pin.
Bake the seasoned seaweed at a temperature of 110 degrees Celsius for 18 minutes to make it more crispy.
When ripe, let the seaweed sit for a while so that its temperature drops and its texture becomes crispier. After that, cut the seaweed into small pieces and store them in a jar for consumption multiple times.
