Ingredients: 500 grams of young jackfruit, cut into pieces 200 grams of beef, diced (optional) 500 ml of thick coconut milk 200 ml of thin coconut milk 3 bay leaves 2 kaffir lime leaves 1 turmeric leaf 1 lemongrass stalk, bruised 2 galangal roots, bruised 1 ginger root, bruised 3 cloves of garlic, bruised
1 tablespoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder Salt to taste Sugar to taste Sufficient cooking oil
How to Make: First, heat the cooking oil, sauté garlic, lemongrass, galangal, and ginger until fragrant. Add beef (if using), cook until it changes color. Add young jackfruit, mix well and cook for a while. Pour in thin coconut milk and thick coconut milk, add bay leaves, lime leaves, turmeric leaves, ground coriander, ground cumin, ground nutmeg, salt, and sugar.
